Naturopathic Consultations

What is Naturopathy?

What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy views poor health as the result of an imbalance within the body, caused by internal and/or external factors and therefore, aims to rebalance the body. Rebalancing the body back to a state of homeostasis or equilibrium is achieved via the use of natural medicines such as: supplements, herbs, tissue salts, homeobotanicals, and/or flower essences; stress reduction therapy including: positive growth mindset, mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, massage, and/or yoga; and healthy lifestyle choices such as nutrition, removal of allergens (food and environmental), exercise, good sleep hygiene, and changing negative and unhealthy habitual patterns.

Naturopathy uncovers, and treats, the underlying root cause of any health condition, rather than treating only the symptom/s. Treatment plans are individualized and designed to meet each clients specific needs, based on their current state of health, lifestyle, medical/health history, and clinical assessments and testing results. Every client is viewed in a holistic manner. All aspects of health - physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual, are considered and addressed.
